Rose Community Foundation launched the Colorado Vaccine Access Fund in September 2025 to preserve and expand access to illness-preventing immunizations across our state. With federal shifts limiting individual choice and access, this Fund and your donations will support solutions that protect every Coloradan’s ability to choose and receive the vaccines they need—when they want them.

In collaboration with Colorado Chooses Vaccines—a new expert-led coalition promoting immunization access—and with the support of physicians, public health leaders, healthcare providers, businesses, funders and families, the Colorado Vaccine Access Fund will support solutions and policies that safeguard public health while empowering Colorado health care consumers.

A call-to-action from Colorado Chooses Vaccines: “We're going to rely on Colorado ingenuity and determination to rally together and rise to this challenge quickly and decisively, preventing the unnecessary human and financial cost of vaccine-preventable disease. We can't afford to stay on the sidelines. As we enter the winter season, we invite you to join our movement to support your loved ones as well as all of our state's most vulnerable, from babies to seniors.”
Rose Community Foundation has seeded this new fund with $100,000, and we invite you to lend your support to this effort. Together, we can protect ourselves and loved ones and preserve access for generations to come. Partners of this still-growing alliance includes Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Hospital Association, Immunize Colorado, Denver Health and Hospital Authority, the Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials, Colorado Academy of Family Physicians, Healthier Colorado, Colorado Access, the Colorado Medical Society, the Colorado chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Colorado School of Public Health, and the Colorado Children’s Campaign.
